"Youth Outreach Initiative - Team 2014 Update"

Cho’s Academy is proud to announce that its Youth Outreach Initiative is well into its second year and going strong.

Last year we raised nearly 4k for the Red Cross by way of live auction, with local Laguna radio personality, Jason Feddy as our auctioneer. For our second project, the team has decided to raise funds for Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.), which is a 501(c) dedicated to fighting child trafficking and rescuing children from child slavery. The team has decided on an auction for this year too. The auction will be held with our 5th Annual Youth Awards Banquet. The awards banquet recognizes local children for their exceptional efforts, character and achievements over the course of a year.

The team spent today walking around Laguna educating local merchants about our cause and rallying their support. This was a great way for us to spend our morning and afternoon... time devoted to making a difference and raising awareness.
