YOGA PROGRAM

Dana Sara's Yoga Program For Children

Yoga provides children the same great benefits it does for adults. Though, we have created a special children’s program for our academy and the Anneliese's Schools Wellness & Fitness Program.

Yoga was designed to begin as a child so that they develop life skills, which last their entire lives.

Yoga creates discipline and focus for children. Yoga cultivates self-confidence, self-respect, and self-love.

Yoga for youth cultivates respect for others, respect for teacher and respect for environment.Young bodies and minds learn to develop through the yoga. In this way, the student is capable of doing things in their lifetime that would otherwise be impossible.

The children become better at athletics and dancing as they learn their bodies. They develop flexibility and strength. They improve co-ordination. As they progress they develop self-confidence and peace.

They may want to simply be able to have fun playing or they may want to become a pro. They will improve performance. They will have fun. They will try harder.

With improved ability to be still and focus children become better students. They have increased blood flow, increased oxygen flow, increased hypothalamus and pituitary secretion improving brain function. Physical activity is been proven to improve brain function.

Children show all around better behavior in school and at home. Parents and teachers comment on improved grades and attitudes. Students demonstrate better coping skills. Children enjoy learning boundaries and obedience. These tools enable children to accomplish tasks and reach their
goals.

Children learn the value of good health. They know the feeling of having a healthy body. They enjoy exercise throughout their lives. They understand healthy eating. Statistically, they are able to transition into young adults better avoiding drug and alcohol use. They learn healthy habits and become able to make good decisions.

Children share basic principals with parents that make the family stronger. This makes kids happy.
