What Is Conscious Pregnancy Yoga? This class is perfect to support the transformation of your life. Dana is pleased to share with you her experience in the art of giving life. She was certified to teach pre-natal yoga through the University of Utah. She has been teaching the practice for over 10 years with great result. She has helped women with many challenges, including infertility and fear of motherhood. Dana has had two blissful pregnancies, short uncomplicated labors; with her second child she labored less than an hour. Her post-partum recovery was swift as she continued her high performance lifestyle. Above all else she is the loving parent of her two healthy, happy children. You will learn to have a healthy mind and body through conception, pregnancy, birth and post-partum. Correctly practiced, you will prepare for a safe and magnificent life-giving journey. Learn the essential dos and don’ts. How to care for your body, keep it receptive, strong and supple. Learn meditations and breathing that will maintain your focus, balance your emotions, connect you to your child and prepare for birth. Practice specific exercises to stretch and strengthen your body safely. Maintain a healthy weight, feel great, ease discomfort and get back into shape following birth. Celebrate this wonderful time, do yoga, walk in the fresh air, connect with other women, enjoy healthy food and keep your spirits up. Let your child become nourished in your healthy body and joyful spirit while you create a life long bond. Maintain proper fluid levels and good positioning for your baby throughout the trimesters for shorter uncomplicated labor and delivery. Create a birth plan and have confidence in your ability to deliver your child safely. Enjoy your baby and parenthood as you get back in shape during post-partum.
